Sam Ferrier
Born in Toowoomba and raised in Roma, Queensland, Sam grew up surrounded by hard work, family and community. Following school, he worked around Australia on rural properties before spending five years working on oil and gas rigs. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch a water drilling business with his brother during one of Australia’s worst droughts. Those tough years helping farmers through hard times cemented his commitment to making a real difference for rural communities.
After a decade in physically demanding industries, Sam realised he needed to shift how he created wealth - from working with his hands to a smarter way. In 2021, Sam moved into investing full time, founding Rural Bridge to give hard-working country families access to early-stage, exclusive investment opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise see. Sam’s focus is helping the Rural Bridge community to learn, grow and build their assets, not just for today but for generations to come.
Sam is known for cutting through the noise, backing investments that align with his values, and keeping things clear, honest, and grounded. He leads by doing — listening closely, understanding what matters, and helping others turn what they’ve built into something that lasts. Hands-on and forward-thinking, Sam has a sharp eye for smart opportunities and a deep commitment to seeing rural Australians grow their wealth.
